5.53 Change Log Notes:

Fixed an issue introduced in version 5.52 Beta that could cause high battery drain

But are we allowed to point out that the link points to firmware 5.52, not 5.53?

Edit: I see now that the same link is used for every new beta release. So I guess that the update just hasn't propagated to "my" server yet. I will hold my breath for now...

Yeap, big battery drain in 5.52, from 48% to 29% in just 16 hours with 1 hour of Strength training+music.

After the update to 5.53, the battery drain had disappeared.

Yes, it is solved...again 0,3% per hour (even better than with 5.1).

I think there’s an issue with navigation (every app) when you are navigating on a routable map to a destination. I cosed a saved location and pressed "start". The data field for navigation on the map screen is always showing “0” and I have lots of new calculations. Issue started with fw 5.52.

Anybode else seen this issue?

Same here, the distance in navigation is alway "0m"

I'm not so sure that the battery drain problem has disappeared with beta 5.53 (I definitely experienced it with 5.52). When I applied 5.53 this morning at around 7:00am, I was at 41%. Now at 1:13pm, I'm at 34%. That's a little over 1% per hour.

Power drain still present for me @ 1-2%/hour.

1% in more than 24 hours with no activity, must be a record battery life for me.
