Bluetooth Connectivity and Music Questions

Hi there
I have a pair of Jabra Elite Sport earbuds, which also have a HRM in them that connects to the Fenix 5X+ via bluetooth (incidentally it's substantially more accurate than the OHR monitor). Everything pairs OK (both Headphones and HRM), however when the watch disconnects the bluetooth after exiting the app utilising the HRM (I use GymGenius from the Store), it disconnects the headphones as well. Is this expected behaviour?
Also, I've linked Spotify to my watch, but I'd also like to listen to my local music library as well. Is this possible? I can't find any option for this in the Music app settings...

Hi, i dont have an answer to your first question but you cannot use spotify and the local music at the same time (or at least not that i am aware of)
You have to switch between the music provider manually (settings - music - music provider)

How did you get the watch to pair with the headphones as headphones? I have the same setup and can only get it to connect as a HRM.

As for putting music on the watch, you can also put music on your watch with the cable and make playlists with m3u files. It's pretty slick how the watch picks up and reads all your music.
