WTF!
No word again about at least trying to fix the battery issues?!?!
  • and what about the huge problem with virtual partner? when are you going to solve this??
    btw: was running a half-marathon on sunday (hr and gps, NO music) -> battery from 90% to 49% (that is 41%). will I ever be able to tuna marathon with this watch?
  • I'm giving my vote to (or raising awareness of) fixing of Virtual Partner related issues (not showing time behind/ahead, absurdly large ETE when racing previous activity etc.).

    'virtual partner' is the only term I'm searching in the change log on each release.

    Garmin, can you give us at least clue whether this fix is planed for near future?

  • What I can´t understand is the difference between battery usage from one watch to another. I run 23 km on Saturday with 5.10, no music (just GPS+Galileo) and it only took 12% of the battery. In fact, I'm charging it right now (Tuesday); it still had 20% with those 5 days plus that 23 km run and another two (11,5km and 4 km). I guess some watches must be defective or something like that.
  • Battery uptick to 100% is still here. I have noticed that something also is messed when the battery reaches 15% and lower. It goes to random numbers, mine went from 13% to 15 % and then straight to 7%. Forerunner I got an email from support that they are aware of the issue but they do not have a time frame. I am also a bit disappointed with the support because I get answers from various people and everyone says different things. Like we want your consent to access your Connect account and decide about a replacement watch etc etc, the other person says about resetting etc etc. A mess actually.
    I have asked for 3 replacement watches from amazon and all of them where the same with the uptick. Definitely a software glitch. It is unacceptable to be a beta tester and pay 700 euro for a watch. My fenix 5 was working propelry, my wife's Vivoactive 3 is also working properly. I am about to return the 3rd watch for a complete refund because I am not happy at all. After 10-15 emails with Garmin, I still do not know what to do. GARMIN are you listening??????
    I am an aviation professional and we never had problems with any of Garmin's devices. I have experience with GNS 430, G1000, Garmin 296, Garmin 530 all these devices where 100% reliable and working.
