Need practical explanation of ClimbPro

Clearly, I failed to access this feature on my Fenix 5 Plus.

From what I've read in documentation and on forums, it should be a screen popping up during my activity showing elevation profile of currently active course plus some heads-ups on upcoming climbs.

Am I wrong?

So I checked that ClimbPro is ON on my Trail Run activity.
I created a course in Garmin Connect, sent it to my device. And begun the trail run along that course.
But I didn't see this nice screen with nice elevation profile a single time during my activity.

Talking about this nice graph:

Is it even a data screen? When am I supposed to see that?

Now, what I actually did see, was a data screen with current ascent every time when my ascent rate went over some threshold.
But to me this is a different feature called Auto Climb. Or is it not?

Please, help me with my confusion, documentation about ClimbPro is rather cryptic and incomplete.

Is there any connection between Auto Climb and ClimbPro?
How does this ClimbPro manifests itself during the activity?
How can I access this information (chart) during activity and be informed about upcoming climbs?

Thanks.
