Can't add credit card to Garmin Pay wallet on brand new Fenix 5x Plus

Have tried multiple times to delete wallet, restore factory settings (with/without data retention) but still can't add a Commonwealth Bank credit card. Error comes up each and every time, saying that I need to delete the wallet and try again.
