Anyone know if/when Apple Music will be added as an app?

my guess...never. I think the only reason Apple Music is on Android (the only platform besides Apple’s own) is because Beats Music was there.

Maybe more likely now that Apple Muisic is opening up to Amazon Echo...

Never say never. The demands of the shareholders may force (eventually) Apple to open up some of their 'services' to other providers or manufacturers. Don't think it will be anytime soon though.
