Music not playing, any ideas all

Hi there

So i had 300 tracks on the fenix 5 plus, and i can see them, but they do not play. Weird. How would you reset music?

- i can connect the watch by usb cable to my PC, and even play the music files from there on my win10 machine, so the files are definately not corrupt
- the files were uploaded via garmin express
- i have a bluetooth headset connected, all good on that front, to the watch, but as a test i removed and readded it
- i then removed all the files, so nothing at all in the device\music folder, then readded via the express windows app 1 music file
- the file is on the device, i can see it if browse songs, but when i click it or the play all songs options it just goes to the music page and nothing happens...

yes restarted the device, no affect

its just not obvious AT ALL why the files are not playing as they music be ok as played before. Now I did change my bluetooth headset a few weeks back

OH - the ICON is missing to Select to switch between playing audio from the device and controlling music on a connected smartphone.
- that matter?

- i just as a different test connected my phone via bluetooth to my bluetooth 5.0 headphones, and playing music via there; and with the phone also connected to my watch, should i get an option there?? as i dont see one. I do remember something there first week i tried this when had the watch.

if erase songs in MUSIC folder and reloading them with Garmin Connect does not work try:

erase songs in MUSIC - HARD RESET - reload music - reconnect earphones.. try to play

I'm on the newest beta and music works fine ;)

SORTED - it was customer led design that failed not me :)

Music can be accessed by:

The CONTROLS menu
The widget for Music
The music option inside settings, music providers

Now really normal humans, i think i am one, want to switch between ondevice mp3's, podcasts syned, and deezer or x on the fly, not delve into settings, music providers, my music, then play, then switch by settings, music providers, runcast ect...

SOmeone should time how inefficient that is by the way, and try and do that on a run good luck to you.

ANyway i dont use this feature much, good i worked it out, man how confusing, and NOT WHAT THE GARMIN webpages show, as they link to a 3.01 software way to do this.

You can program a button to open the music app during an activity. Easy peasy.

Hold DOWN from any screen to open the music controls.
Connect your headphones with Bluetooth^® technology (Connecting Headphones using Bluetooth^® Technology).
Hold MENU.
Select Music Providers, and select an option:
- To listen to music downloaded to the watch from your computer, select My Music (Downloading Personal Audio Content).
- To listen to music from your smartphone, select Control Phone.
- To listen to music from a third-party provider, select the name of the provider.
Select to open the music playback controls.
