Pace problem.

Hi to all
Can somebody explain why the pace is like that ? After 10 minutes is looking ok. Same with the heart rate. I was wearing a chest strap. I had the green indication for the GPS before I started.

Are you using a cadence/stride sensor? I notice you have a 12 meter stride. That is quite long.

It's clear you did something at about 12:30.
Until then the pace was zero and the HR a little spiky, after the "timeout/pause/reset" the watch registers the pace AND a higher HR much more smooth.
I don't know which strap (not a Garmin or else we would see more data) you used but i would take a close look at it. (your HR also drops after 1 min)

Not necessarily. Could be a malfunction.

Hmmm, no. Cadence was zero. Pace was somewhat jaggy, but quite sensible.

Are you using a cadence/stride sensor?

This would explain pace and cadence irregularities, but not the HR anomaly.

No cadence/stride sensors. I did nothing at all. I was watching my pace while running. I had headphones on but that does not explain it.
