Feature request: Fenix 3 Military Watchface, more Alarms, and Half-houfly alerts

Everything is in the title !

I KNOW we can find it through third party watchfaces but those drain up battery and are always not as polished as the Garmin ones IMHO.
  • Not true. They are some third party watchface which are polished (antialiased) and which are not draining the battery.

What exactly would you like to see in a "military" watch face? Pretty much everybody in my unit wore a G-Shock.
  • No watchfaces, native or 3rd party, can play a tone/vibrate for something like a half-hourly alert

I meant that I would love having the native fenix 3 digital watchface on the fenix 5X plus available

I know, that's why I'm asking for it, it would be great to have a hald-hour alert.
  • No CIQ watch face has it because it's not possible. CIQ watchfaces can not generate tones or sounds.

BTW, when looking for something new as far as an app, the best place to post is the Connect IQ App Ideas forum.

This. Literally everyone in my unit would wear G-Shock too. Shock-proof, crash-proof, and life-proof.

Indeed! And now we have the Garmin Instinct...distinctly G-Shock :D
  • I coudn't find 3rd party watchfaces that are not draining battery. Garmin Watchfaces are draining minimum battery because they are using a different design (what I understand) not accessed to 3rd part developpers.

Should be great they could put natively different watchfaces.

If you have some useful watchfaces to prpose, don't hesitate. I am using Actiface for now. I loved Gearmin watchface but it is consumming more battery.

3rd Party Watchfaces which are NOT using more battery and installed on my watch are:
    SC8 by Stanislav.Bures
    Activity Graph by Tomas Slavicek
    ur Time Aquatic by urSmartApps
    and
    EuroPilot by s0dhi

All of them use around 0.25% of battery by hour (0,22% for the Activity Graph)

I have compared with OEM watch faces I also use.

Actiface and Gearmin are draining faster the battery. In the same style Data Lover by Peterdedecker seems much more battery friendly.

    YMMV like they say. :-)
