Training Status - “No Status”

After three months of regularly reporting training status data my 5 plus started reporting “No Status” about two weeks ago. Since then I have gone for five “RUNs” (i.e. not trail run or treadmill). Other data are being recorded (e.g. intensity minutes, heart rate, etc.). Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix this glitch?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t see the relevance of that question. Please clarify.

    Thanks.

I had a similar problem before, but it was due to my Garmin Connect displaying a historical status for a previous watch. If you are receiving the "No Status" indicator on the actual watch itself and not simply seeing it on Garmin Connect, I am afraid I can't help you with that problem.
  • I have the exact same issue, it was working just fine and now in the last two runs the Performance Alert never comes up, the performance condition data field remains empty and the Training Status unaffected (shows me as de training as if I haven’t done anything).

I did used to have a previous Fenix 5 before the Plus so I’ll try removing that one from my account, see if that helps.

Gotcha. I have had other Garmin watches (last one before this was a Fenix 3hr) but I don’t think that’s the problem. One, I don’t think I would have gotten any training status at all if it was reading my historic data. Instead I got what you are supposed to (nothing for the first three runs or so, and then fairly consistent status until it just randomly turned to “No Status”). Second, the previous watches didn’t have training status data (although they did record HR and conjecture V02Max). Third, I have deleted those watches (although not the underlying data) from my Connect account. Also, as you conjectured the “No Status” is showing on my watch, not in my Connect account (I haven’t checked what it’s showing).

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

Are you running longer than 20-30 minutes at a time?

I've same issue after purchase fenix 5+ as second device.
    but i just fix this.

go to Training status then scroll down to the end. Tap the watch icon then select your new watch from list.

    the data will show correctly.
