Stress level measurement not working

Although i sit totally calm, watch firm on my skin and pulse measurement is working, i often get no stress level measurement.
It just tells me that i have to check the watch position!?!?!
How can it measure my pulse but not the stress level - since that is basicall only the variance between the beats?

By the way.. no matter if i sit there totally relaxed for an hour or am in a hurry at the office, stress level always indicates around 50-70.
As far as i see, that feature is basically another random generator not working as advertised.

Can't count the disappointments with this watch & Garmin...

Did some tests with my fingertip on over the sensor to get the most stable and clean pulse signal.
The watch perfectly measures my Puls and the variance is minimal.
However, when starting a stress level test, it almost always counts down the 30 seconds without finding a result.
    How can that be???
    This is dfinately not working.
Additionally i let my gf test the watch and same results with her stress levels and the failing fingertip tests.
    Any explanation?

    Here we go...next bug?!?...
It is 10 minutes past midnight and I just checked the „past 4 hours“ stress level diagram on the watch.
Guess what... the chart is completely empty!
I give up reporting bugs to the beta email since there is no light at the end of the tunnel.... and no bugfixes so long

Typical day at the office with an interval run in the afternoon and an evening walk with the dog. The big gap you see before the walk was due to charging the watch.

What Firmware Version are you running?
  • I’m running 4.20, but it worked in the same way in 3.10 and on my previous VA3 if we exclude the early firmwares.
