What happened with the slate gray version?

Hi, I had a Fenix 5 slate gray and liked the look. The bezel was durabel as well, no scratches in seven months. The watch when back to Garmin due to poor gps performance. I will probably sell the replacement watch (Forerunner 935) and by a 5+. Have anyone heard of a slate gray 5+ model?
Any thoughts on GPS performance 935 vs 5+? Are they comparable in accuracy?

The slate grey color is only available in the DLC Titanium version.

All other colors are either silver (titanium or stainless steel) or black (stainless steel).
The black does not match the slate grey, they are definitely different in color.

The titanium can be easily refinish at home if there are ever any scratches. You can never put the DLC or black coating back on the bezel once they are scratched. That's what finally made me switch from the black/slate to titanium.ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1400666.jpg

OK. I have never seen the "Carbon Gray DLC Titanium" in real life. Does it look similar to the Slate gray version of F5?

Yes the DLC looks similar to the slate gray coating from earlier models, but it is way much more scratch resistant (and waaay much more expensive)ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1400890.jpg

I’m not 100% sure but I think that plus DLC version is more blackish if you compare to the 5 slate gray. Anyway here’s my DLC in daylight.
