Smartthings app

Hi

I don't think this is quite the right forum, but here goes anyway

Does anyone use the smartthings app? I rely on it quite heavily but following an upgrade to android 9 it's stopped functioning unless the phone is unlocked.

Not sure if it's the app or android 9

Anyone else having the same issue?

I'm running 4.65 beta.

Just in case anyone else has this issue - Android 9 puts all apps into battery optimization on the new OS, once I removed both connect and the smartthings app from battery optimization everything started to function again
