Well I already contacted Garmin , but I wanted to see if you guys and gals had any other advice before I exchange it for a new one . Well I have been having Bluetooth issues since , I don’t know how long . Long story short, my watch will not par with my iPhone X at all . When I try to par the watch to the Garmin app , the watch says initializing , instead of the code that it normally give you. It connected before when I first brought the watch , but now I haven’t received any luck at all .
It means you don't have the last version. Mine is 2.80. Install the 4.65 and all components like they explain it. One system file in the Garmin folder and all the other requisite files in the REMOTESW folder.
Remove Garmin Connect Mobile from your IPhone X and do a factory reset on the Fenix 5x Plus. Than reinstall GCM on your iPhone and pair your F5x Plus. I had exactly the same issue, after these steps all worked again.
