The date bug with CIQ watch faces is still present.

That is very disappointing. Garmin, please fix the CIQ Date bug. Please.

After a few hours with v4.65, it appears that the Bluetooth communication between Apple IOS and the 5X Plus has been improved. The app no longer needs to be open on the phone to receive Weather and Calendar data updates.

I will have to test things a bit further to see if battery life is impacted, if the music feature drops or skips while a Bluetooth connection is established with the iPhone during activity, or of the RD Pod, Foot Pod, or other ANT+ sensors interfere.

Looks good so far, assuming there hasn't been any other regression, but please fix the CIQ date bug!

That will make many users happy. :-)

Beta installed with no problem, testing start now.

Isn't the OWS better with the 2.23 ? Anyway, I'm waiting for FabioSaitta to have a dip ! :-)

Sorry I checked again, the track with 10.10 and 2.23 was with GPS and GALILEO, the other was with GPS and GLONASS and a previous version of firmware, 1 sec acquisition. I'll post a run with GPS only 10.10 and 2.23 to let you know if there are differences ....

I'm waiting a sunny day for test either with sea swim on a precise route to compare.

  • 2.23 is just ok-ish as it still tracks with oddities ;-). but then again, way better compared to 2.20...

What sort of oddities? I can check mine and see.
  • Link not works

Did you read the text you quoted? If not all of it, then at least the part in red colour.
  • No dropout with my HRM-RUN this morning, and the watch synced via bluetooth after the run to my iPhone X for the first time ever without me having to force close and restart the Garmin Connect App. Much better.
