I plan to use my watch when i go hunting. And when i go hutning i have to stay within certain boarders of the terrain. Does anybody know a way to draw boardes onto the map?
I have to Fenix3 draw boarders in connection with hunting. The boarders is drawn as a path in Garmin Basecamp, and can be displayed on the Fenix3 clock. I have not tried it on Fenix5plus yet, maybe it comes later (have been on a holiday trip the last few days).
Sorry for my bad english, i am an old mand in denmark. //Joergen
I`ve done the same thing, I downloaded a hunting terrain from a internett-page and my watch reads it as a course. :) Would be good if it could differianciate from the two :)
This sounds like something for a CIQ app. So perhaps your best bet would be to post a request on the CIQ forums and see if any developers are willing and able to pick it up.
Hi I have been out and walked a little trip to the local car park. In Garmin BaseCamp I had drawn a border, and I walked a little outside the border and a little inside the border.
I have used navigation during the walk. Navigation has been changed to "direct route planning": Settings / Activities and Apps / Navigation / Navigation Settings / Route Planning / Direct Route Planning (translated by Google translate, hope it can be used).
