Yet another bug - Battery level stuck at 15% since 8 hours

My battery level ist stuck at 15% since approx. 8 hours of operation in smartwatch mode.
Never had such an issue before.
Firmware version 4.64.
I'll keep on observing that bug...

    Just a minute agoe the indicator dropped to 14%.
    Very strange since normally i got 1% drop every 2..3 hours.

    5 hours passed and still sitting at 14%.
    That‘s suspicious.

    Indicater just dropped to 12%.
    That gives me 3% in 22 hours (always on)!?
    I used to have 7...10% per day!?
    There's definately something strange going on...

    Definitely a bug in 4.65 firmware!
    Disconnected my watch today in the morning after a short charge from the charger showing 63%.
    12 Hours later in smartwatch mode including an 1 hour Mountainbike tour, it still shows 63%!!
    Bit the best is, after power off and on, the watch shows 73%!!! :mad:
    What a sh.t Software Development team!!!
  • not really a new bug. This is the same behavior seen by numerous people and reported in the disappointing battery life thread(The biggest thread on here)

    Never would have searched for it in that thread since battery life is not disappointing, just the software is a nightmare! :)
  • The battery level gauge has some real issues for some people. It is more interesting to me that not everyone is seeing this though. I have not had this issue at all, while some people report seeing it every time and others see it only under certain circumstances.
  • Due to that fact, I am trying to get more data to understand what is causing it and why some are seeing it and others aren't.

    If anyone is willing to take the time to provide us with your data, please email us at [EMAIL="[email protected]"][email protected][/EMAIL] with your device type in the title so that your email gets sorted to the correct team quickly.

    In the body of the email, add the following:
    • Your concerns and any examples of what you have seen.
    • How you are using the device daily (ex. Music, 3-hour run, daily watch...)
    • Garmin Folder

    With that information, it would help a lot since I personally have not been able to reproduce it.

    No workaround and no bug-fix since enhancements of the music player has highest priority.
