Does anyone else have a problem with the estimated finish time when setting a training target. I have used the distance target for two 10km runs and a 1km walk. On each occasion the estimated finish time shows around 3 hours and does decrease as I run/walk but only to about 1hr 50 minutes - even when I have completed the distance (around 50 mins for the 10km and 8 mins for the walk). The average pace does show correctly during the run. Clearly this does not help me with training!
I have the same issue with my F5+ firmware 4.20. I just did a test outside the office. Chose Run activity / Options / Set a target / Distance and pace / 1KM distance / 8:00 pace. When I started the estimated finish time seems to be way off. It shows different values on the first two datascreens (see attached images). The time behind field seems to be correct.ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1397763.jpg
Hi. I'm experiencing the exact same problem, and my pace times were miles out too. My estimated finish time reduced even when standing still. I returned my Garmin Fenix 5 Plus for a replacement only to find the new one did exactly the same. I've tried the Run App and the Trail Run App both by Garmin but they do exactly the same. I'm still speaking to Garmin UK about this. Tempted to go back to Samsung... It must be a software issue, but getting them to recognize that is another matter. I'm running firmware 5.10.
