Garmin Connect made courses not loading on watch as they should

I made a few MTB courses on Garmin Connect using OSM and trendline. Out in the field, I sent the courses to the watch with the iOS app.
For some reason and it seems random, the courses do not load properly or get corrupted in the sync between the watch and the mobile app.
When pressing “do course”, the course is not show on map screen. Elevation profile not shown. If I instead of selecting [do course] (in navigation menu) select [map] the screen looks like attached picture.
Deleting the course and resending it seems to work sometimes after a few tries. In the process I end up having 2 instances of this course (in the course list on the watch), one that works and one that does not.

any suggestions on how to avoid this...?

    Have you tried loading courses to the watch directly from your computer?

    Yes, I do not get this issue when transferring courses through Garmin Express. This was in a middle of a ride where I needed a course not yet transferred.

    I will use trial and error this week to see what conditions and steps produce this bug.
  • I was having the issue seems like the new files folder or courses folder were corrupt so support had me connect wtch to my computer opened up files under garmin and then delete the new files folder and courses folder.
