Lactate Threshold

I've done dozens of running workouts, including interval sessions, speed sessions, long runs with increasingly hard intervals etc - and I have yet to get the watch to record a lactate threshold for me. On the Garmin App, the Lactate Threshold chart is empty ("No data available').

I've read that there is a guided lactate threshold test available - how do we access this?
  • I think you should try a run where you slowly ramp your speed so your HR slowly goes from 20-30 BPM below your assumed LTHR to 5-10 BPM above your assumed LTHR (or all the way to your max. HR if you feel for it..).

  • Just updating this - earlier this week I did a hard 30-minute run (not the threshold test workout from the watch) and the watch recognized and updated my LTHR (slightly higher than when I did the threshold test workout).
