Given the fact that this was introduced/announced today as a feature of the new Vivosmart 4, I honestly hope that Garmin will add this to the 5X+ rather sooner than later!
I am confused about what is new in Sleep Pulse Ox.
The 5X+ also tracks Pulse Ox during sleep and presents a graph. Actually, I think it is supposed to do it all day too, but for some reason I mostly get automatic measurements during the night - perhaps because I am moving too much during the day.
So if I understand it correctly, the only difference is that I can't see the Sleep Pulse Ox data in the same Garmin Connect screen as my sleep data, but have to look at two different screens?
Yes, the Pulse Ox is in a separate screen and an additional field in the My Day screen as with steps, heart rate, etc. It doesn't appear with the sleep data but would be a nice feature.
I noticed that it tends to not track when moving (e.g. walking) and not track at all if there is sweat between the watch and your wrist.
Surprised they chose to add this feature to one of the cheapest devices, would expect my $900 5x plus gets it first...
It looks like they added a pulse ox tab to the sleep details and increased the pulse ox measurement rate during sleep. It would be nice to see those features added to our watch.
