Unable to add card using Garmin Pay

So I have had my Fenix 5+ for a few days and putting aside it has hung 3 times requiring a reset and I am seriously considering returning it, I now cannot add my bank card into Garmin Pay (this is Santander UK so is supported)

I fill in all the card and personal details and click on the final next button. Eventually I get the message 'please reset your device using delete wallet'. I have tried this 5 times now. I am loosing patience with this. As others have mentioned on other threads, I feel like I have a £700 beta device.

Any suggestions for this issue? Thanks
