Does anyone know if there is any way to start navigating a course from within an activity? Today I did a couple of way marked MTB trails and then followed an unmarked route I had prepared using the course option however I couldn't work out any way to do this as part of the same activity. In the end I just stopped the current activity, saved it and started a new one to follow the course but I would rather do it as one as it was all part of the same ride.
Thanks for the quick reply, I did try that however 'calculating' came up on the screen and it got no further (must have waited 5 mins). After that the maps also seemed to stop working. I ended up having to power it down and back up again, then going into navigation>course>do course, the course came up instantly. I have just tried again using a run activity and it does the same thing. Is this just my watch or a bug? (I am on version 4.2 - possibly it is this bug from the 4.61 change log: Fixed an issue where the user could not start navigating a recent activity from the App options menu?)
