I received my new Hrm-Run from amazon yesterday , and I tried to pair it to my 5x plus this morning for my run . I couldn’t get it to pair to it all l. Any help !!!
Did you 1. Wet the strap contacts (I soak mine with water) 2. put it on 3. hold menu>Settings >sensors & accessories>Add New> External Heart Rate (I've had problems when using search all)
If you did, and you have a recent generation Samsung phone, please download the ANT+ Plugin Sampler from the play store and see if your phone sees the HRM. If it does, try a reboot of the watch an repeat the process above. If not, change the battery in the HRM.
If the phone sees the HRM-Run and the watch will not even after a reboot, it would be time to call Garmin Support.
Yeah i did all of the above ,and by the way I have a iPhone if that helps. Its a brand new HRM , so I would think the batteries wouldn't be a issue. So I will just put a new battery in it. Thanks for the advice .
