On FW 4.20 at this point.
I'm still seeing issues with elevation calculations during higher speed activities. If I go for a walk or run, it seems to be accurate, but when I road cycle, I'm getting calculations that don't match with Garmin Connect corrected elevation, strava, mapmyride. I'm consistently getting 350 feet on my ride to work, where those programs have it between 550 and 600. My ride home is similar, with elevations being much lower than they should.
I'm on one second data recording. I calibrate continuously during the activity and manually calibrate prior to the start of the ride. I have tried the barometer on both Auto and Altimeter setting. Nothing seems to help with the road cycling activities.
Not that it matters, but I average about 20 mph on the ride, so there are some higher speeds.
Before I call Garmin, anyone else still seeing this???
