Map lag problem

It seems there is a bug with maps. I made several hikes recently and sometimes (2 times out of 4 hikes), the position icon and the map window stays fixed on a position whereas the track seems continue showing the correct location. I have a garmin fenix 5x plus version 3.20, and the picture depicts what i explained.
Please tell me if somebody already had this problem and if it is a known bug that will be tackled by garmin ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1390119.jpg

Haven’t seen this on my 5x+. Happened that once or multiple times (also in other activities)?
Have you enabled more than one map (except the base map) for the used area?

It happened several times only in hike app (that’s for the moment the main app I use, I will try in trail app in some days). The first time only the only solution I found to get a correct map was to stop the activity and start a new one (I tried to restart the navigation, but it stayed in the same position). The second time, it went back to the correct location after several minutes (that’s why I think of a lag thing, but for the first time I waited more than 20 minutes with no success). I had only one map enabled.

mightypk Which maps do you have installed on your device? Like do you have any extra maps added to your device? Also, does the lag happen when you are not using any none factory widgets?

I have both Topoactive and Topo pro maps installed but only Topo pro is enabled in my map selection (and of course DEM basemap). I just have garmin sun and moon widget added, and I even removed several factory widgets.
