It was a rather breezy and rainy day in Waverley, UK today but I had a great time anyway. The F5+ did great- both in terms of GPS accuracy (the hike was through mixed terrain through fields but also through a lot of paths fully covered by trees);
The mapping capabilities of the watch came in handy as I was able to verify at a glance that we were moving along the correct trail.
I lost only 20% over three hours of hiking.
Overall, I am happy to have decided to stick with the F5+ over the Suunto 9.
