During activities that have a map data screen, sometimes I like to zoom in or out because the default zoom level isn't adequate. For instance, if I'm hiking a secondary trail sometimes I find that you have to zoom in a bit to see the trail name, and this is the level I like to set it at for the duration of the activity.
What I've been intermittently experiencing is that sometimes when I zoom and then hit Back, the map defaults to the original zoom level, which is sometimes way too high to be useful. This is extremely annoying and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if there's any kind of workaround.
I haven't owned the 5 Plus for too long but I went out on a canoe backpacking trip with my old 5x last year and the zoom worked beautifully.
