Fenix watches have all the sensors required for this miracle. I remember when Suunto launched the Ambit Vertical with the elevation profile of courses. After a couple of weeks, Garmin gave this feature to Fenix3 by a software update. Better and more accurate UltraTrac is a feature that every ultra runner would appreciate...Guys, do you agree?
I've only used UltraTrac once so far (in easy conditios) but I was positively surprised by the quality. Distance and track were very close to the control device I was carrying with me
+1. I used UltraTrac on a hike yesterday, most of the time with an open and clear sky, and the track is laughable. The watch thinks I hiked 19.59 miles but based on the trail signs and GaiaGPS running on my iPhone the hike was actually 15.1 miles.
The funny thing is that Garmin was the first who placed a gyroscope on F5 series for better UltraTrac accuracy but Suunto’s FusedTrack is by far superior...
