I have it. I haven’t done a full ride yet but I did confirm it holds its connection for more than 10s. When I used the F5, connection would only hold for 5s and then drop and start searching. Very annoying. I did a 10min ride once I got the F5+ and it held the entire time. Going to do a long ride in the near future and will let you know.
As for the Wahoo Tickr and Cadence sensor I can confirm those hold for 3.5hrs+ as I use them on my bike outdoors. With the F5 I had sporadic drops but not anymore.
Yes, I've done a dozen rides or so since getting my F5+ with my Kickr (2017) including some of 2+ hours, with zero drop-outs. I've also used the Tickr X and Cadence sensor, and have also used the Favero Assioma Due on some indoor and outdoor rides; zero problems.
Can someone help me with how to connect the Fenix 5 as well as control the Kickr at the same time? Want to get the benefit of the TE calls but can only seem to get the ride downloaded after if controlling trainer via Wahoo app.
