I'm having hard time to decide which Fenix 5 Plus to buy.
I have smaller wrists and was thinking about black 5S Plus, but i like the design of 5 Plus more. And if i go with 5, i'm not sure about black vs. titanium (silver bezel). I can't see all models in person here so i would be really happy to see your models.

Post photos of your Fenix 5S, 5 Plus. I'd also like to see any other strap choice.

check the blog of dcrainmaker.com for his review. He has pictures of all 3 watches side by side and the weights.

  • Here’s my F5+. I had previously tried out the F5 and knew I wanted the all black with silver accents. Red just did not appeal to me, nor the silver bezel. Came with a black leather band that I wear at work.

  • Fenix 5+ Sapphire DLC version with a custom made leather strap  I love it!

Hey, I was thinking of just buying any leather strap. It's all good as long as it's 22 mm and has a hole to the little metallic thinggy to fit through, right? Btw, can that be just normally unscrewed, with an appropriate screwdriver and that's it? Nothing fancy?

This is awesome. Can you share where you got the strap from? Like how the orange threading matches the markings on the DLC Sapphire (I have same). Also, don't think this is quickfit? How do you take it off for sweaty activities?
  • Glad you like it ;)

The easy part first, it's not quickfit but I just don't change the straps for activity, I wash the leather straps afterwards with soap, let it dry and then apply some hand cream ;) ... it works very well and keeps the strap in good condition (I changed it every 12-18 month in other watches)

Now, the strap.. well it is a small company in Poland that makes those, you can choose different models, leather colour, threading colour, length and buckle... I only asked them to make a wider hole for the strap attachment. The price is not high, around 25 euro + the postal costs.

If you are in Europe you probably can get one from them, the link to their page (and my strap model):

The english or german page translations don't seem to work at this moment, but maybe you can write to them. I can also help, PM me ;)

Yes you can fit any 22mm leather strap, just make sure that the hole for the strap attachment is around 2,25mm. To easily remove the attachment pin you need 2 appropriate screwdrivers.
