Routing issue for automobile/motorcycle?

when trying navigation with these 2 routing profiles, the watch will not give a route on roads but just a direct line to the destination. Other routing profiles like bicycle, running work fine on the watch.

Anyone else experiencing this?
I think I have exhausted all settingsoptions.

Edit: Sorry, found the answer in other threads. Topoactive maps do not support routing for car.

You can download a map for your area here: http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ I did this a little while ago but from what I remember there's a good YouTube video that walks you through how to do it.

is it needed to download the routable map from OpenStreetMap (Generic Routable (new style) or Generic Routable ??) to be able to use fro Car?

They should both work. I believe New style just displays more details, but is no different routing-wise.

Because I don`t trust osm maps for car routing (osm maps are normally not made for car routing), I bought a Garmin CN NT street map and it is working as expected.
