3.55 Change Log Notes:

Made music code improvements for CIQ SDK v3.0.
Fixed an issue where Total Ascent and Descent could be intermittently too low for certain activities.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

There was no improvement or fix on the last update and i still did not get any replay from the European (and US) Support or here about this problem :-(((

Following up from the TrainAsONE side:

This looks like its failing at the point where we try to pass the workout across to the fenix firmware to run.

The line of code in our widget would be:

If there is anything we can do this end to help Garmin test/resolve, please just let us know

David - have you tried the 3.0.0 b3 SDK to see what happens in the sim? During the 3.0.0 SDK beta, there were some fixes that weren't back ported to the 2.4.x SDK. Maybe someone can try a sideload built with 3.0.0 b3?

I'm... having some issues with the beta3 SDK. The Fenix 5X+ simulator does not seem to be able to download workouts when running as 2.4.x or 3.0.x and keeps locking up hard when selecting a menu option. The other simulators seem to be fine (including the 645M as both 2.4.x and 3.0.x)

I'm seeing if I can isolate the hang to see if its the attempt to download the workout first that sets up the menu hang.

Shall I start a new thread to report the SDK simulator issues (and I assume I should be switching back to the 2.4 SDK if I want to build an app for the store?)

Yes, submit a bug report in the CIQ bug report forum, as you'll want the Garmin folks to investigate the problem you have with the sim.

Right now, you have to move back to 2.4.x to export the app for the store, but I don't think 3.0.1 (the first production CIQ3 SDK) isn't that far away as devices are getting a CIQ3 VM these days and when the CIQ 3.0.1 SDK is released, you'll be able to build .iq files with that.

For what it is worth, the download happens. I see the widget saying "updating workout" and then if I launch the workout from the standard "my workouts" menu in the Run app, all is well.

Launching the workout from the widget is what hangs.

And there is another issue during training if you click long button down don't show hours
