Do you find that music plays out of track order during an activity?

Thanks for posting your first impressions. I am considering buying the watch as well. Please share some more impressions after some days of use, especially regarding battery, gps accuracy and daily use.

I've mine about a week, went on a 13+ mile run at the weekend with GPS+GALILEO and every second recording.
My friend is using a 1st gen fenix 3 (non HR), I compared the tracks and I have to say the 5+ was much better, will keep an eye on it for a larger sample size.

Do you find that music plays out of track order during an activity?

I had a playlist and it played in order.

Had roughly 60 songs on it.

Still loving the watch, in regards to:
Battery - it’s a decent step back from the 5, I could get 15-20 days from the 5 and I’m already at 70% after 2 smartwatch days (no exercise or music use)
GPS Accuracy - big stepup from the 5, very close and an added value the altimeter appears to be reading correctly (was never the case on my 5)
Daily use - UI is far more polished, the watch is lighter and it is an excellent buy (although I hope the battery issues are just software)

I have been using a Forerunner 935 and have recently bought a fenix 5 Plus. I concentrate my activities on open water swimming and, in the past 6 weeks or so, Garmin has updated software and the distance tracking on both the 935 and the fenix 5 Plus is an absolute mess. I have tried everything - use both GPS + Glonass; data recording every second and have used the beta software on the 935, which supposedly solved the distance tracking issue with OWS. It has not and, for the money you pay for these watches, it is just wrong. Don't advertise that you can track OWS, if you can't. Have been in touch with Garmin directly and nothing has been solved. Maybe, Suunto is an option after all

I've upgraded from the 5x and for me the 5 plus is a major step up. I agree with others that the performance is snappier and the interface more polished. I love being able to listen to podcasts without carrying my phone. There are new features that I also like, some of which are subtle and require some adjustment based on your use cases. For example, altimeter "continuous calibration" is very nice. However, I live on the 30th floor so I would wake up every morning off by 200-300 feet (i.e., difference between my bedroom and the base of the building). So I turned off that feature. I had to figure that out. Also I like the backlight on glance during activity feature, which is on by default. However, that may be leading some to see greater battery drainage. I have not had problems with battery drainage.

Bought mine few weeks back. First F5 then 935 (as F5 was too heavy) and now F5+ Ti. For every day use weight is not a problem like it used to be with F5 but when running i can still feel it is "moving" on my wrist and i need to really tighten a strap to get rid of it. i guess it happens because the watch is thicker than 935. Other comment is that looks like glass has no any coating and it is easily covered with your fingerprints... I confirm it performs snappier than 935.
