Will not charge above 60%

Have a few Fenix 5 Plus Titanium - received last Wednesday. I topped off the charge on Friday night, and this morning (36 hours later), it was dead. I've spent the whole day trying to charge it again, but cannot get it to charge above 60%. I've tried three different chargers, including the computer. Have also tried hard and soft resets. I'm getting the feeling it is inexplicably bust and will need to be returned. Any ideas?
  • Try charging as far as it will go and then run completely flat, and charge again. If things don't improve after cycling a couple of times RMA
  • If you use the beta software i would recomend downgrading to official, then hard reset.. if official then change to beta and hard reset.. see if it helps.
If not I would RMA it right away.

There is something wrong with how Fenix 5+ shows battery state. For example mine showed 100% for over 24 hours of normal use, after switching it off/on it showed 92%, but your description rather indicates a faulty battery imho.

Thanks both. After typing the original post, I plugged it in to the PC for about the 3rd time and it jumped to 99%. I did a factory reset, switched to beta, and then watched the battery drain by 5% per hour until it died 12 hours later. That was with no 3rd party widgets or faces at all. Bluetooth and Wifi connected - but no unusual level of notifications and basically leaving it alone.
