I have used my previous watch 735XT for over two years and was extremely happy with it. No issue whatsoever.
The recent upgrade to 5S Plus which is double priced compared to 735XT gave me nothing but frustration. Within few weeks I noticed the following:
1. It freezes in 2 out of 3 open water swims.
2. Managed to freeze even during run once. My 735 NEVER froze on me, not once.
3. Open water GPS tracking is completely unreliable., It doesn't even resemmble the actual path. Again 735 was doing much better job at this.
4. Altitude from the altimiter is completely unreliable especialy during bike. I left my house at 35 m above sea level to arrive back at -14 below sea level. 50 meters off!
5. Wrist hart rate is unreliable but frankly not much worse than 735.
6. The floor count doesn't work properly.
7. I have to charge it after every activity as the battery discharges very fast.
Is my watch faulty or is this how they all are?
