Your device didn't detect advanced sleep

I'm having similar issues as well on mine as well (APAC).
keep on telling me the same error message.

I'm gonna try using a chest strap to see if it works. Cos it says need HRV data and supposedly need a chest strap to read it? (at least the HRV Stress app from Garmin necessitates a chest strap)

Nikeow Could you send me a private message with the serial number of your device? That way I can see if both of you have the same model and I hope that will narrow down that causes of this.

The same problem is happening with the Fenix 5 Plus (APAC) watch as well.

perhaps you can be a bit more specific for either us or garmin. Did you EVER had Advanced sleep working? The APAC versions (I can only speak for myself) is that advanced Sleep _does_not_work_ since day 1.

Up until this morning it has been working fine detecting advanced sleep. Woke up this morning no advanced sleep detected. Lets see if it happens again tonight. There was a update for Garmin connect yesterday not sure if that is relevant or not. I rebooted the watch might of been a one off lets see.

Looking at (my) sleep data from within GC on a daily base, some days show advanced sleep data (light sleep data field is filled), others don't - light sleep time data field shows -- and an info "no advanced sleep data " shows up. Hitting the "more information" link shows an info box that gives three preconditions for availability of advanced sleep info
1.) Device should be wrist worn for at least 2h before going to sleep and not to be taken off off in the night -> I have the habit of charging the F5X+ and loading apps to it in the late evening hours, so this seems a plausible reason for not having advanced data. And sometimes, I take off the watch in the middle of the night as well.
2.) HR Monitoring should be enabled -> always on on my side
3.) And, if you have more than one fitness tracker device, the 5X+ should be selected as your preferred one.

Advanced sleep detection do not work in APAC version since day 1. I have another 2 friends who are not in this forum, whose watches also have same issue.

I haven't gotten any update at all after sending all my data to Garmin. I appreciate some kinds of update here, especially as this issue is affecting all APAC versions.
