Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

3.53 Change Log Notes:
  • Made mapping improvements for CIQ SDK v3.0.
  • Made Wifi sync improvements.
  • Added support for transmitting real time Pulse Ox to Garmin Connect Mobile.
  • Fixed a critical issue where music would stop playing over headphones.
  • Improved Bluetooth connection reliability when using an iOS device.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Please send all bug reports to "][email protected], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 Plus series you have in the subject line.
  • Bekkedlen it didn't happen to me. Not sure Friman needs to elaborate beyond directly answering your question.

He don't have to elaborate anything, but saying just "no" on behalf of all F5XP users is way too stupid.

But ok, looks like I'm the only one with this problem, which I find very strange. Just have to wait for the next update and see whats happens then.
  • I'm quite sure, that on-device routing/navigation based on preinstalled map "TopoActive Europe West 2017.30" worked in the pre-3.53 version (3.30). It does not any more.; it computes a little while, then presents a as-the-crow-flies straight line. Within basecamp, this very map is clearly able to create a route.
Beyond that, using "City Navigator Europe NT 2018.2" (separately purchased) for on-device navigation works perfectly, so routing in general does not seem to be broken.

Friman answered your question and never claimed to be speaking on behalf of anybody but themselves so I don't see what the issue is. Greater post count does not necessarily equal greater quality posts. In answer to your question....no, I too have not seen this issue.

The point is, if no one responds to my question, then I assume that no one else have this issue. I dont expect everybody to say "no I have not that problem". BUT if he just say NO, without any specification, then he speaks for everybody. Hard to understand?? Anyway, no use to comment this any further and you did not contribute to raise the quality level of this either. IMHO

I'm not exactly sure what you actually want from people. You asked if anybody else had a problem, you got an answer of "no". Friman wasn't speaking on behalf of everybody...they were just the first person to reply, and you virtually bit their head off.

The problem here is you assuming that everybody knows what rules you wish them to follow.

I am sure you know what I mean, so pls stop flogging a dead horse.

With "Fenix 5X Plus - 3.55 Beta Release" the supposed behavior is OK - it's routing again.
