• Improved Bluetooth connection reliability when using an iOS device.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Please send all bug reports to "][email protected], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 Plus series you have in the subject line.
• I have no connection issues whatsoever. Fenix 5 Plus and iPhone X.
• I got the connection issue for the first time AFTER updating to the beta :(
• On my side, after a few days I can confirm that:
- the connection is quite stable during the day when the phone is often in range of the watch
- the connection is always down in the morning after a night where my phone is not in range of the watch

In the morning I have to open the iPhone Bluetooth and press the Fenix 5 plus so that the phone forces the connection.
• I wanted to try it but the files cannot be copied over in Windows explorer. I can browse the files on the watch but not save anything to it. Any advise?
• Did you first extract the files from the .zip and try copying those?
• Yes. Still the "paste" button is inactive.

I have similar experience, Fenix 5+ disconnects from my iPhone 8 during night and then i have to force the reconnection, but in my case phone and watch are lying next to each other

I just got a new 5 Plus to replace my 5x, and am seeing that it does not mount on the Mac desktop the way the 5x did. Reading between the lines of the earlier posts in this thread, is there a way to install the beta using a Mac and some third party software, or do I need a PC? If the latter, that is, indeed, unfortunate.
• There are a few threads that mention this for the 5x+, f5+, and 5s+, but you'll want to use something like Android File Transfer.

Have Garmin Express shut down before you use it.
• I look forward to seeing more substantial updates. How about introducing something that makes navigating from A to a specific point B (as in input address-->navigate) easier AND by staying on the Garmin platform. (I need to use third party tools for this at the moment);

In addition, I would love to see some updates to the HR sensor hub and to the GPS module- surely things can be further improved upon?
It would also be great to include an option that allows the user to have altitude updated through DEM every time GPS is found prior to starting an outdoor activity.

Finally, it would really help if the sensors menu can be added as a quick launch options- this is currently my biggest user interface gripe as having multiple sensors involves accessing that menu a number of times (and it's not quick to get to)
