Antenna Issue of Garmin Fenix - Still on Fenix 5xPlus

Pretty disappointed from my new Fenix 5XPlus with the GPS Signals
Was hoping signals are better on the 5XPlus then on the 5X - But they are still worse then on my Forerunner 920 and even the 910, especially in the water.

Did some research and asking some experts. That's what i found out:
The introduction of glonass and galileo can't solve a hardware design problem Garmin won't address. Whit the Antenna positioned as now the being gps is the weakest in this department compared to Suunto and Polar. Hope this changes on Fenix 6 - cause this is not acceptable for athletes and watch user who need the watch every day...
I understand that Garmin did a lot of work with success on some pods software integration as well as the accrual algorithm which is for sure great and probably the best on the marked.
This helped Garmin to get some good user expectation and feedback, but the Fenix 5x Plus is in the end a High-End Watch for the Professionals and on that do i expect a better GPS Antenna from a Company who has great knowledge of the GPS System and supplies several Militaries around the world.

By The way: Weaker than the gps (which is on par on the bike only) is only the baro with consistent critical failures.
It's the same hw of the xt models and it wasn't changed either.
Luckily unless you spend 2 hours a day in the water you'll never know.
(that Part did i now experienced my self, but heard now from more then 3 People which are kind of experts with the Fenix Watches)
