Fenix 5 Plus Mounting to Fenix 3 cradle?

Hi all, I have a really quick question as I am looking for ways of using my existing out front mount from my 920XT having bought a Fenix 5 Plus. I've done some looking around a think I can make one from a Fenix 3 charging cradle (cheap eBay one) to hold the watch whilst mounted to a universal Garmin twist mount.

Does anyone know if this Fenix 3 cradle would fit the 5 Plus?

What did you want? A thousand useless replies saying "No, I don't know"? Maybe you should take the lack of replies as an indication that nobody has an answer for you and stop behaving so entitled? This is a pretty helpful forum. In general, if you ask a question and somebody knows the answer, they'll answer but being rude just because nobody's actually able to help you isn't the way.

I ordered a 5 plus. Should be getting here in 2-3 weeks. I have my old F3 charger I'll let you know once I get it.

It does not work. The cradle is too big and the watch will fall out and the pins are much closer together in the new 5 plus.
