Fenix 5X Plus music volume not loud enough

I just received my Fenix 5X Plus. I downloaded some music from iTunes to watch and paired with a UE boom. I noticed the volume set to max on watch and max on UE boom is not very loud. I compared it to running same iTunes music from iPhone to UE boom. iPhone to UE boom is twice as loud. The connection from the watch to UE boom was stable, just not loud enough. Any thoughts on why this is happening or a solution?
