Using your own band on a 5+

Hey all, Anyone know if it's possible (advisable?) to use your own non-QuickFit watch band for a similar 22mm lug width? I have an Isofrane diving band and would like to get it on there it if allows... Thanks, b
Exactly what I am about to do. I have done the same with my 5S, now for my new 5 plus. The only issue is that the pins are a tight fit in the Isofrane strap holes. Being rubber the pins do not slide freely into place. With a bit of patience it works well.
