Any tricks to making it work? I tried and tried and couldn't get mine to pair.

Open the case and press the button behind to start the detection.
Start the search on the watch.

what device are you guys trying to pair? i am interested in pairing a FR935 with airpods but no luck with that yet.

The 935 does not support headphones. Headphones can only be used on the Music devices (fr 635 Music, Vivoactive 3 Music, and the Fenix Plus devices)
