First Gen HRM-Run drops out after 2-ish mins

Second run with the new 5X+ and it did the same thing on each run - all strap related data; ground contact time & balance, stride length, vert oscillation, etc. stops recording at around 2 mins 14 seconds. My wife's new 5+ (not X) is doing the exact same thing. Still getting heart rate, cadence, etc, but that is likely coming from the watch when it drops the strap out. Battery changed in our HRM Runs a couple weeks ago.

We both just upgraded from 5X's which worked fine with the straps.
  • HRM-RUN Running dynamics, issue resolved...for me too on 4.65. Just need to now sell my 1st HRM-RUN, fenix 3, and garmin footpod as all spare kit (i use now fenix 5 plus, stryd, hrm-run4), any takers ping me before I go to ebay at the weekend.,.,.,.
  • for me, just updating ANT/BLE/BT to 2.91 (out of the 4.65Beta package) did the trick. I updated GPS to 2.24 but stayed with the base firmware at beta 3.21 (due to a zero cadence problem with my Bluetooth Bike powermeter). My first run with livetrack (iPhone 8+) during the entire run, with autostart. HRrun, Tempe and Footpod connected, GPS+Glonass, 1second recording and saving HRV data. Im happy that this nasty problem is solved now.
  • A new Bluetooth/ANT software update for the fenix 5 series is now available. This software will fix issues where ANT sensors will drop during an activity when connected to a Bluetooth 5.0 smartphone. To get this new software, please update using Garmin Express.
  • Hi to all. I was at a the track today and left my phone on a bench there. As I was running around my watch was disconnecting and connecting with the phone all the time. The problem is that when I uploaded my activity, no cadence and run dynamics where recorded. I thought this was resolved and I am on 5.10. Anyone with this? Is something wrong with my watch ? Or my hrm run? I am puzzled again...
