Round Trip Course - only for running and bicycling, not walking

I like the "Round Trip Course" feature a lot and I used it for an evening walk. I needed to cheat, pretending I was going for a run because the feature cannot be chosen when one just gets out for a a walk, as specified in https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/fenix5plus/EN-US/GUID-D39D8539-1FE6-492E-B9F2-7B71DA432E8E.html
It would be nice if it could be used for a walk too!
