Picked up my 5X Plus today and have been playing around with it. The pulse ox widget was displaying and working properly when I first got it. After connecting to Garmin Express, it downloaded new firmware (3.10) and since then I no longer see the pulse ox widget or any related data available on the watch. Unless of course I'm just missing it somewhere, but it looks like it's just gone right now.
I purchased Taiwan version of Fenix 5x plus and there is no Pulse Ox widget. Customer Service told me there is no Pulse Ox due to the regulation in Taiwan...Is there custom app or any other method to activate Pulse Ox sensor?
I just got my fenix 5x Plus today, updated it to 3.10, and the pulse ox widget disappeared. It even disappeared from the sensor list! I let the watch acquire GPS lock, then went back and the widget had returned (as well as the Pulse Oximeter in the sensors/accessories). Hopefully someone at Garmin realizes how stupid that is and changes something. Add a message to the widget screen saying recent GPS data is required or something, but don't make it like the whole sensor has been removed from the watch...
Hi All, Newbie Fenix 5x Plus owner. All has been going well for two weeks. Now, this morning, I am getting a message when I go to the widget "Pulse Oximeter version mismatch. Update Software." Any ideas what is wrong or what I need to do? Thanks in advance for any help.
