Looks Like I'm The First

Guess I'm the first to get one... Ha!

Got it at BestBuy with the 2 year protection plan.

I'm charging it up now. It synced right to my iPhone 8+ with no issues. Once it charges I will take it out for an activity and see how things work.

I recently got the 5x (less than a month ago), and if all goes well with the Plus, I will probably sell the 5x for like $400.00 if anyone is interested.

Nice one, congrats! I was about to buy the X Plus today but the sheer size of it got me to rethink.

There is now very little between the 3 models so I’m thinking of getting a 5 Plus instead. Let us know how you find the GPS!

Congrats! My Fenix 5 Plus is ready for pick up at the store so I should have mine in hand in the next few hours. I'll probably spend tonight playing around with it and take it out for a test run tomorrow morning. Will post back here if the GPS performs any better. Anyone have any suggestion on the best GPS configuration (GPS, GPS & Glonass, or GPS & Galileo)?

Thanks, that's what I was leaning towards too. I haven't returned my Fenix 5 yet so I can still test them side-by-side. Will post here with a comparison of GPS accuracy soon.

Returned my fenix 5x Plus today and am keeping the 5x.

The GPS is only slightly better than the 5x (plus the net release for the 5x will have GALILEO), I always have my phone when I exercise (in case of emergency, so no real need for the musinc on the watch sucking up all the battery), and for that much money I just feel it is not worth it.
