That is disappointing considering the huge jump in price over the old models. I will be sticking with my FR935 unless Garmin see the light and start giving out some discounts.

my fenix 5x is pretty scratch resistance
I have the fenix 5x and would certainly move to the Fenix 5 plus titinium after using it over the fenix 5x
