The Instinct series is unique. It has the ABC shortcut built into the software and the bottom left button is the permanent ABC shortcut when long held. On the top bezel of an Instinct series watch, what you see indicated are shortcut options that are all long holds of each button.
The Enduro functionality for the shortcuts are discussed in the Support Center articles contained in my last response above.
I also think that having the possibility to add the ABC widget to a hot key would be a useful addition to the Enduro and Fenix series.
On this regard, the Instinct offers more useful customization.
I’m happy to read that I’m not the only one thinking this way.
By the way, my solution to this was to add barometer and altimeter to controls (upper left long press key). Not the most efficient solution but it’s better than nothing.
I switched from Instinct to Fenix 7x watch. And for me it was a huge surprise that I can not put the compass function like a regular hotkey. The compass is very important to me. Is it really difficult for developers to add it to the hotkeys selection menu?!
